History
Founded in 1990 as VGA GmbH, entertainment resource evolved from TV production to a leading provider of immersive attractions. Milestones include the first 4D and interactive cinemas, electric 6DOF systems, VR integration, and advanced control systems. Today, they develop innovative FLY attractions like flyDOME using electrical driven motion technology.
1990
VGA GmbH was found by our director Paul Wiegand. The foundations of today's entertainment resource GmbH are laid. The company was serving the TV Broadcast and Film Production Business.
2002 / 2003
VGA GmbH was named in entertainment resource GmbH. Today's entertainment resource GmbH comes into being. The idea was to serve the entertainment industry and combine the knowledge of industrial controls, computer graphics, simulation and system integration to deliver a complete program for entertainment solutions. Entertainment resource operated as representative for Showscan Entertainment Inc. in Europe.
2005
entertainment resource built the first 4D Cinema.
2011
entertainment resource built the first interactive 4D Cinema.
2013
The first electrical driven 6DOF System was build.
2014
The new developed VR Solution will be integrated in the attractions VRXpress and ultimate4D.
2015
The new showcontrol and venue control system using newest industrial parts and latest software technologies to bring the diverse technologies used in a mediabased attraction together.
Today
As a result of extensive simulation background, entertainment resource developed FLY attractions like the miniFLY and flyDOME with 6DOF motion systems.
